“It’s basically a can and money drive.” says Elizabeth Skaza, the president of NHS. “It’s a competition of their own and for school districts.”

Skaza explained that it was an incredible and really cool experience and that Rock 102 met their goal of filling 3 trailers full.

“This year we had many teachers offer bonus points if a student brought in cans. Chapin Street also helped out. They filled two car themselves. ”

NHS beat their total from last year which was $4,191.98. “We won $1,000 for the club and a Big Y gift card. It’s like a tradition for LHS to win.”
