Today LHS students evacuated the high school at around 10:00 a.m for a bomb threat.

Students were asked to evacuate the building only using the two exits near the bus loops and were ushered to Vet’s Park Elementary School. Once Vet’s became too packed excess students were taken to Baird Middle School.

Police are present not only at LHS but at both evacuation locations.

Earlier this morning LHS also had a fire drill.

“I was a little bit struck by the fact that we just had a fire drill and now we are evacuating,” says junior Brooke Bruneult.
