Freshmen Class Hosts Fundraiser

Freshmen+Class+Hosts+Fundraiser

Madelyn Ogorzalek, Editor In Chief

Lead by Mr. Hanson, Ms. Jacobson and Class President Cullen Smyth, the freshmen class has started their first fundraiser, a donut sale for Krispy Kreme Donuts. The donuts are being sold for $12 a box, with each box containing a dozen donuts.

The fundraiser began on March 6, and tomorrow, March 26, is the last day donuts are being sold.

As an incentive for the freshmen to sell donuts, there are different levels of prizes for selling donuts.

For ten boxes of donuts sold, students are entered into a raffle. For every 15 boxes of donuts sold, students will get a $10 gift card and a raffle ticket. In addition, the highest seller gets a renaissance card, a $10 gift card and two raffle tickets.

The fundraiser has been decently successful, with a few hundred dollars raised so far. The money will be saved for junior and senior year to fund events like prom, senior week, and the senior picnic.

Mr. Hanson and Ms. Jacobson will collect all orders. Make sure to get your last donut order in by tomorrow!
