Attention all sophomores and juniors: The guidance department is offering a field trip to the National College Fair in West Springfield at the Eastern States Exposition (The Big E). The trip is on Monday, April 4 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Students need to register for the fair before the trip on www.gotomyncf.com. You will receive a barcode that the colleges will be able to scan to get to know what you want to study. Please print it out or have it on your phone. If you do not have a barcode then you will not be allowed on the trip.

“I expect students to visit with admissions counselors to get info about schools and programs. I want Juniors to start making their college lists for admissions next year. Juniors should be visiting schools, looking at different programs, preparing outlines of their essays, finishing up their resumes, and volunteering,” says guidance counselor Tesha Ward

You can get a permission slip from the guidance office if you did not receive one in your English class. Get them back to guidance as soon as possible because space is limited. Monday, March 14 is the last day to get your permission slip in.
