Volleyball Marathon might take place on March 6-7th, but make sure you have your team registered today, Jan. 30, in Ms. Lowe’s room, E201.

“Volleyball Marathon is an all night event hosted by Yearbook and National Honors Society,” says Amber Lowe, advisor of yearbook.

The marathon will be held in a Round-Robin style.

Round-Robin is rotating teams. Teams will be rotated through in A, B and C brackets, three total.

Students who participate in Volleyball Marathon will be in the gym from 6 p.m. Friday night until 7 a.m.

“Typically students are playing, eating, hanging out, or gaming.” says Lowe.

40 team names are drawn randomly to determine who participates in the event, as there is very limited space. There will be 36 regular teams and 4 alternatives in case one of the original 36 can’t attend. Announcements will be made during 7th period on Friday, Jan. 30th.

Team captains that hear their name called are to pick up a packet in the main office. Participation fees, team design, and permission slips will be included the packet.

Slips, fees, and designs need to be into Ms. Lowe no later than Friday, Feb. 6th.
