Winter Spirit Week at Ludlow High has officially started. With Flannel Friday completed, it’s safe to say our school is showing great participation this time around based on the percentages from Flannel Friday. Over half of our school showed spirit and support for their class by wearing flannels of all colors.

Just under half of the freshmen, 48.7%, wore flannel, placing them at fourth place. Sophomores took third with a higher percentage of 53.6%. In a close battles between the juniors and seniors, juniors took second place by a mere 0.3%. The juniors had a showing of 59.5% and the seniors had a showing of 59.8%.

Juniors feel frustrated because their class president, Matt Goncalves, has been posting on Twitter to try and convince the class to participate, but they still haven’t taken the lead.

Junior Stephanee Bouthiller said, “I think it’s rigged.” Moving forward, she hopes her class will be successful in class color day, given the amount of students who purchased class t-shirts.
