College Visits at LHS

Colleges and Universities will begin visiting Ludlow High School starting Sept. 15 to share information about their schools and answer questions from juniors and seniors. Visits are scheduled during a specific time and student need to sign up for the visits at Guidance.

“The admissions counselors will share all the great facts of the school,” said Guidance Counselor Lydia Brady who serves the sophomore class.

They will share things like the school’s location, activities, sports, housing options, special programs, and majors.

They will also “tell the students what the school is looking for and the requirements to attend the school,” said Brady.

Many students at LHS are concerned about college costs. At these visits students can ask questions about cost and financial aid.

“My hope is for students to learn more information on our school and get questions answered,” said admissions counselor from MCLA Meghan McMahon.

Usually these visits take 20 minutes. Students can sign up for a visit in guidance. October and November are the busiest months of the visits so students are encouraged to sign up soon to claim a spot, said Brady.
