The Interact Club will be hosting the Tom’s One Day Without Shoes walk on Friday, June 3.

All of the money earned for the event will be donated to the Tom’s Foundation and will be used for donating shoes to people around the world in need.

Students who wish to participate are required to pay $3.00, which will include a pair of no slip socks and a sticker that states that they are participating in the activity.

“I’m excited for the entire event,” says President Gregg Babin, “but I think I am most excited about doing the walk in the morning.”

Students are also welcomed to join the rest of Interact Club for a walk at 6:45 a.m.from LHS to the fire station and back.

“There might even be a surprise for the students who reach the fire station,” says Babin.

To sign up students must go to see Mr. Hokanson in room B210, Miss Roy in E003, or Miss Cerutti in E207.

Last year on May 10, 27,435 children in 10 countries received new shoes.
