Stand out movies nominated for Oscar’s

American Hustle

This film stands out for one big reason. Its the all star cast, which includes Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, and Jeremy Renner. Expect great performances from all. It’s also directed by David O’Russell who just happens to work with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper last year on the film The Silver Linings Playbook which  won J-Law her first Oscar. The odds are in Jennifer’s favor, with the golden globe for best supporting actress already in the bag and surely more nominations to come. Amy Adams won best actress, and the film won best picture. American Hustle is a crime/mob movie for anyone who enjoys a good drama flick.

The Wolf Of Wall Street

Martin Scorsese has directed this almost three hour long film, not having directed a movie under 2 hours since 1986. Nonetheless Scorsese does a flawless job directing this bio-flick about stockbroker Jordan Belfort. With Leonardo DiCaprio as the lead and other great actors that make up the cast like:, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Rob Reiner and Jon Favreau. Leo won the golden globe for best actor. Just make sure you don’t by a large soda before this three hour film out.
